More so, The OSI model is a reference model while the TCP/IP model is an implementation of the OSI model. In addition, in OSI model, the protocols came by and by the model was described while in TCP/TP model, the protocols came first, and the model (Zack, 2010).Migrating from IPv4 to IPv6 is not an immediate process and requires gradatory implementation due to the endless number of users on the Internet that still utilize the IPv4 system.
